Watchers

I've been left to my own devices.  I don't know if I'm safe, I'm being watched, they're everywhere.

SlenderMan: Not really a concern.  He visited recently, and even if he took me away again, I'm sure I'd be fine.  Slendy's pretty harmless.

Chemistry:  The Asiatic water buffalo/Minotaur spirit that's been my foe as of late.   While VultureGirl was merely unnerving, Chemistry is openly hostile.  He rifles through my things, leaps through my line of sight, and has actually touched me.  Concerning, but still not the biggest threat.  He fears bells.

The Devourers in the Darkness:  Unidentified creatures that lurk outside, drawing is like a bad police sketch; mostly guesswork, likely very inaccurate. They watch me through the windows, and are of highest concern.  They want to eat me, and I don't know what scares them, nor what kills them.  I see their glinting fangs as I type this.  I just heard one outside.

Friendship and the Spirit World

When the year started, I told myself I'd see my human(oid) friends more often, and meet the ones I have yet to meet.  This has not gone well so far.  Why?  The Spirit Folk, along with some extra-dimensional beings, have been eating up much of my time, energy, and sanity.  Here is a (likely incomplete) catalogue of my new "friends"

• SlenderMan:  (see illustration) He's not as evil as people think.  I usually have no memory of our meetings, and it's strange to wake up some mornings with hair full of twigs and and clutching a near-illegible, hastily written letter that's a combination of english, a long-dead nordic script, and eldritch symbols.  I kinda wish I could read them, is anyone reading this an expert in dead and extra-dimensional languages?

• VultureGirl:  A curious creature, she turned up after an interesting bout of horrible illness.  My best guess regarding her identity is that she's a Psychopomp of unknown origin.  She was corpselike, with grey skin, she had no eyes as far as I could tell, I believe she could only see through her mask, as she did not want it removed or touched.  She had talons on her hands, and was almost always crouching. She moved in a quadrupedal fashion.  She never spoke, and her face was mostly emotionless.  Her only interest seemed to be watching me, staring through her feathered mask. When she wasn't carefully watching me, she was eating corpses of thought on my bed, which I hardly appreciated, she on more than one occasion offered me an arm from one of the corpses.  I haven't seen her for several days, I suppose she's figured I'm not dying any time soon.  I miss her now that she's gone, I wonder where she went.

• Nyarlathotep:  The only one I have regular visits with, and the one I'm most suspicious of.  I should know better than to befriend Outer Gods, but Nyarly's rather charming.  I have yet to see him take the exact same visage twice.  Our meetings normally entail afternoon tea and random, meandering conversations.  I should probably see him either more or less often.
